Coble Landing, Filey
The 'Coble' is the traditional local fishing boat. If there are none to be seen at the landing there are displays at the local small Museum. Coble landing is the cobbled slipway, open to non berth-holders for the launching of craft, and is operated by Scarborough Harbour Office ( Scarborough Harbour Office 01723 373530 )

At this north end of the beach you will also find the amusement arcade, cafe, some beach chalets and public toilets.

One word of advice while in Filey is do not try and walk around the cliff base from Filey to Cayton Bay.

It cannot be done and you may get trapped...
