9 am on a summer morning, Marine Drive, Scarborough.

After 2 hours photography - what could be better than a hot Bacon sandwich and a coffee at the Cafe?

Well - to be honest, just about anything might have been a better choice - suspicions raised by the speed at which the sandwich arrived were only confirmed by the first bite - it might be sunrise on Monday, but my guess is that this bacon last saw the griddle sometime on Saturday!

Shame really, as this was our first trip back to Scarborough since 2000 / 2001 and the town seems to have come on leaps and bounds, with the townsfolk and businesses in optimistic mood.

So come on, I'm no Chef, but I think I could put together a Bacon sandwich - recipe: open pack of bacon, remove 2 slices, grill until cooked, insert in buttered bread bun & serve. Done! I know I was.
