Scarborough is unusual in having a lot of grass as well as amazing curving beaches and from this point along South Bay you can stand looking out to sea with a gorgeous view across the water in front of you and sloping lawns and stone steps up to grassy walks at your back.
If you go out early on a summerŐs morning the smell of mown grass in the dew and the salty tang from the sea is the very essence of an English seaside holiday and one to remember when you get home after your stay.
