The beautiful curving sands of Scarborough are seen to their best advantage from the road above the Spa.
This is a perfect spot to stand and while away some time watching the tide as it creeps up the beach or retreats leaving beautifully smooth, washed sand. In the early morning you might well have the place to yourself and there is something to watch in any weather; the sun twinkling on the water in summer or the wind-lashed waves in winter.
Scarborough is just one spot on a very rugged coastline which has these fabulous curving beaches.
