The Spa Complex in Scarborough is a very important part of the town and is a very lovely building with views across the whole of the bay.
When Scarborough first came to prominence in the late eighteenth century it was as a spa, in common with many other towns and cities in England, such as Brighton and, again in common with other places and particularly Bath, the spa is still a reason for choosing Scarborough as a holiday destination.
The lovely flat beaches of the town mean that you can stroll along from one end to the other and the Spa is a great stop before turning back after a rest.
