Sandside is the real ÔseasideÕ area of Scarborough and in one of its squares it even has a shipÕs anchor to prove it.
There are so many places to eat in Sandside that anyone would be spoiled for choice and there are also numerous walks you can take, along the pier or the esplanade, all of which will give you a good appetite.
On a blustery day it is really refreshing to take a walk down the pier and then come back with roses in your cheeks to have a warming drink in one of SandsideÕs cafes.
