The Rotunda Museum is a fascinating building, with a curved outer wall. It has recently been completely refurbished and contains an amazing collection of fossils from the famous Jurassic deposits of the North Yorkshire coast.
With spectacular views of the Spa Footbridge and sea glimpses between its arches, as well as a curving walk from its walls up into the town, the Rotunda Museum is one of the jewels of ScarboroughÕs architectural heritage.
Many people visit the Rotunda because of its own unique appearance and not necessarily for the contents of the Museum, although the collection housed inside is one of the best in the country.
