The grassy cliff of North Bay is one of the highest points in Scarborough and standing on QueenÕs Parade looking out to sea gives one of the best views in the town. As the bay curves round you can see the castle and the curving row of hotels which line the Parade off to your right and the arm of the bay to your left.
North Bay is not as sheltered as the South, being wider and more open to the sea, so there are some spectacular views to be had in rough weather when the breakers tear in and crash on the breakwaters below.
