Peasholm Park is a lovely green space, a rarity in many seaside towns but a very famous area of Scarborough.
It has been sensitively landscaped with paths, boating lake and quiet areas and the Japanese Bridge is a popular place to meet or to simply stand and watch the world go by.
Peasholm Park is the home to the famous naval battle re-enactments on the lake in the summer season and with so many walks and interesting vistas, the park is a popular destination for tourists and local people alike. When the beach gets boring, head for Peasholm Park.
