Peasholm Park is a beautifully landscaped area in Scarborough, taking full advantage of the natural lie of the land and amazing in all seasons thanks to its many mature trees.
The Pagoda is relatively new, having been rebuilt in 1999 after a fire, and is the centre of the re-enacted naval battles for which the park is justly famous. The tiered seating amongst the flowerbeds make a perfect place to watch from, or to just relax in and soak up the sun on a pleasant summer afternoon. The sloping ground to the rear of the seating means that there is always some shelter, so it is a lovely sun trap.
