The harbour and Vincent Pier are usually crammed with small craft moored up for the season, and these are always coming and going, making this area of Scarborough one of the most bustling in the town.
The pleasure craft that take visitors out into the bay leave from here and you can also hop aboard a speedboat if you like your water travel fast and feisty. The beaches in Scarborough are lovely, but there is nothing quite like getting down to the working end, to see how life at sea works, whether fishing or pleasure.
